If you start in Scotland, or travel into it – your UK National Trust will see you though (also in Wales and Northern Ireland)
If you get a National Trust Pass, you will be able to visit any of their sites anywhere all over the UK (Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, England). After 3 visits you have paid for the pass and it is helping keep history maintained and alive. I really recommend it also look into their gift aid programme.
If you live in New Zealand, there is an exchange between the UK and NZ. If you buy a pass to NZ Heritage before you go, then you get access to the National Trust NZ (and get to see cool stuff in NZ).
